Do BlueLume Glasses need batteries or charging?

No. There is nothing to charge and no batteries to replace. The lens features work as soon as you put the glasses on.

Do the lenses really darken outdoors?

Yes. The photochromic lenses darken automatically in bright sunlight and return to clear when you go back inside, so the same pair works for walks, errands and the desk.

Do I need a prescription to order BlueLume Glasses?

No prescription is required to order. If you have a diagnosed eye condition or a custom prescription, ask your eye-care professional whether they suit your vision needs.

Can one pair replace my reading and distance glasses?

BlueLume Glasses are designed to cover reading up close and viewing farther away in one pair. A custom prescription may still be necessary for diagnosed conditions or individual vision needs.

Good to know: BlueLume is everyday eyewear, not a medical device, and it doesn't replace an eye exam. With a diagnosed eye condition or a custom prescription, check with your eye-care professional first.
